Pets:

Within 7 days of travel, dogs must be treated against ticks and tapeworms.

Notes:
35 days must pass after the rabies vaccination before the pets may enter Barbados.
The pets must have been resident in the country for at least 3 months prior to entry.
Category 2. – all other countries.
Notes:
30 days after rabies vaccination, the pets must have a blood test (FAVN rabies antibody titre test) carried out by an approved laboratory, with a result of at least 0,5 IU/ml.
90 days must pass after the successful blood sample was taken before the pets may enter Barbados.
Pets resident in a Category 1. country for less than 3 months and pets travelling by sea must comply with the same regulations as pets from Category 2. countries.

Baggage Clearance regulations:

Baggage is cleared at Bridgetown-Barbados (BGI).
Exempt: baggage of transit passengers travelling onwards with LIAT (LI) or Carib Express (IM).

Currency

Currency Import regulations:

Local currency (Barbadian Dollar-BBD): no restrictions, if declared on arrival.
Foreign currencies: no restrictions if declared on arrival.

Currency Export regulations:
